Giant - Official Trailer #2 (2026) Pierce Brosnan, Amir El-Masry
Check out the trailer for Giant, an upcoming film starring Pierce Brosnan, Amir El-Masry, Katherine Dow Blyton, Ali Saleh, Ghaith Saleh, and Toby Stephens.
Based on the remarkable true story of legendary British-Yemeni boxing champion Prince Naseem "Naz" Hamed and his relationship with Irish boxing trainer Brendan Ingle, GIANT charts Naz’s inspiring rags-to-riches underdog tale from his humble beginnings in Sheffield to becoming champion of the world.
With his unorthodox style, cocky persona and sheer dominance of the sport, Naseem faced down the abhorrent racism and islamophobia that swept Britain in the 80’s and 90’s, to become a global sporting icon, both inside and outside of the ring. The film explores the unlikely and tender relationship between Naz and his trainer Ingle – a steel industry worker who ran a humble boxing gym in a church hall in the North of England; and the instrumental role that Ingle played on Naz’s road to success. With exhilarating and visceral scenes in the ring, coupled with deeply moving and intimate moments behind the curtain, GIANT is an inspiring biopic of one of the greatest showmen the sporting world has even seen – the untold true story of the boy behind The Prince.
Giant is produced by Stuard Ford, Mark Lane, Kevin Sampson, and Ross Williams. Miguel A. Palos, Jr. Zach Garrett, Anant Tamirisa, Michael Ewing, Sylvester Stallone, Braden Aftergood, Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, Tyler Gould, Zygi Kamasa, Mark Gillespie, Nick Manzi, and Geoffrey Beattie serve as executive producers. It is written by Rowan Athale.
Giant, directed by Rowan Athale, opens in select theaters and on VOD on May 22, 2026.

In the highly anticipated Official Trailer #2 for Giant, the film-makers deliver a confidently composed snapshot of a narrative that blends intimate character drama with sweeping, cinematic scope. Anchored by the seasoned gravitas of Pierce Brosnan and the emerging intensity of Amir El-Masry, the trailer offers a promise of a story that unfolds with both quiet restraint and kinetic momentum.
From the opening frames, Giant establishes a mood defined by confident pacing and visual clarity. The cinematography favors expansive landscapes that mirror the internal journeys of the protagonists, suggesting a film that uses space—both physical and emotional—to reflect separation, endurance, and the possibility of reconciliation. The tonal balance, oscillating between restrained dialogue and powerful, emblematic silences, hints at a narrative that trusts the audience to read between the lines rather than spelling out every beat.
Brosnan’s presence, as suggested by the trailer, serves as a gravitational center—a character whose history and authority command attention even in moments of vulnerability. El-Masry complements this with a dynamic range that captures resilience under pressure, creating a tense dynamic that suggests a layered collaboration on screen. The interactions teased in the trailer point to a story about memory, legacy, and the friction that arises when past decisions collide with current realities.
The supporting cast appears to contribute a robust emotional texture, with performances that appear calibrated to a realism-driven approach. The production design—costumes, set pieces, and the tactile textures of environments—works in tandem with the score to evoke a sense of place that feels both lived-in and purposeful. The musical cues, delicate and restrained, seem designed to punctuate rather than overwhelm, allowing the emotional stakes to breathe within each frame.
Narratively, the trailer hints at themes of responsibility, forgiveness, and the consequences of audacious choices. The pacing suggests a roadmap of rising tension, punctuated by quieter, introspective moments in which characters reckon with the weight of their decisions. Visual motifs—perhaps a recurring emblem, landscapes that morph from confinement to openness, and intimate close-ups—signal a film that is as concerned with inner transformation as with outward conflict.
Director and writers appear to be crafting a cohesive, character-driven epic that balances personal stakes with larger-than-life elements. The careful composition of scenes, the strategic use of silence, and the confidence in performance over exposition all point toward a final product that aspires to stay with viewers long after the credits roll.
In sum, Official Trailer #2 for Giant signals a film that marries strong acting with a confident, cinematic craft. For audiences seeking a contemporary drama that interrogates memory, power, and the costs of aspiration, this trailer positions Giant as a film worth anticipating from its first, deliberate frame to its potential culmination on screen.
