A New Term Begins at Escape Academy

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is now available on Xbox, inviting puzzle fans back into a world where the next challenge could be waiting just around the corner. As the sequel to the award-winning Escape Academy, it builds on the original’s escape-room foundations with a bigger, more explorable setting. The launch announcement and store listing are available through Xbox, while the series’ premise can be explored further on Wikipedia.

Campus Grounds With Secrets to Spare

The sequel’s most intriguing shift is its open-world campus, a setting designed to make exploration part of the puzzle-solving experience. Rather than treating each challenge as an isolated room, the school becomes a place to investigate, with hidden traps, secrets, and mind-bending puzzles promising reasons to look closely at every corner. That broader approach puts the game in conversation with the exploration-led adventures highlighted by IGN and the puzzle-game coverage at Polygon.

Solo Sleuthing or Co-op Clue Hunting

Escape Academy 2 can be played in its entirety solo or alongside friends and family, with both split-screen and online co-op supported. That flexibility gives players room to tackle clues at their own pace or turn the campus into a shared investigation, where a fresh perspective may be the key to cracking a stubborn puzzle. The game’s Xbox availability is outlined on the official store page, and more about the platform can be found at Xbox.

Back to School, Back to the Puzzle

The launch trailer marks the start of a new chapter for a series built around curiosity, clever thinking, and the satisfaction of finally spotting the clue that was hiding in plain sight. With an expanded campus and multiple ways to play, Back 2 School aims to make the journey between puzzles as inviting as the challenges themselves. Players can find the game on Xbox and follow platform news through Xbox Community.
