Wednesday was reportedly one of Netflix’s most-watched series ever in its first season, and it’s clear the streaming giant considers it one of their heavy hitters now, with Season 2 added to the small group of scripted series popular enough to have their seasons split up. But can the three year break between seasons lead to an improvement or will it still feel like a bunch of fun visuals in search of a stronger story?
Season 2 follows Jenna Ortega carrying the show as Wednesday Addams along with a great cast to fill out the rest of the Addams Family, played by Luis Guzman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fred Armisen and guest stars Steve Buscemi, Haley Joel Osment and 90s Addams Family cast member Christopher Lloyd.
