Squid Game’s Cast and Creator on The Importance of Ending “Just The Right Way” | IGN Live 2025

Squid Game creator/director/writer Hwang Dong-hyuk and actors Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Park Sung-hoon, and Kang Ae-sim join us at IGN Live to debut an exclusive clip from Season 3, featuring a distraught Gi-hun coming to grips with the failed rebellion which brought Season 2 to a close. They also tease how Gi-hun and Front Man represent the series’ evolving themes, how critical it is for each episode to end perfectly, what memories they’ll carry with them after the show ends, and the single word that sums up the series finale.

Squid Game’s third and final season premieres on Netflix on June 27th.
