This video raised a very weird and interesting concept. Should a Spartan corpse have some kind of effect on the living until respawn? This would definitely be painful, if you had a heavily armored Spartan corpse flung at you over 50mph. Some kind of damage or even death could occur, and if nothing else it would have caused a brutal collision.
The Spartan corpse could have killed me if there was some kind of collision damage there. I would have died happy. Literally a "kill from the grave" would have a new meaning entirely, maybe even a new medal could be born.
An even deeper dive into the concept: Theoretically the Spartan corpse could shield you from bullets or blast from explosion until it disappears on the respawn. In some instances you could use a Spartan corpse for cover. It's odd because you can punch, shoot and abuse a Spartan's corpse in the game where it will move and even blood will come out, but it has no effect on the physics of gameplay. You can have an effect on the Spartan corpse but the Spartan corpse can't effect you.... I say turn the tables and let the Spartan corpses have an effect on the living while they are still in play. Can Halo Infinite players handle how deadly, dangerous and heroic a Spartan's corpse truly is?
