Resident Evil Requiem Finds That Sweet Spot Between Action and Horror – Beyond Clips

Resident Evil Requiem isn’t the first time Capcom has tried to blend the series’ trademark survival horror roots with the more action-focused gameplay of later installments, but it’s one of the best attempts to date. The mix of Grace Ashcroft’s claustrophobic stealth sequences and Leon Kennedy’s action hero moments could easily lean too heavily in one direction over another, but Requiem finds that sweet spot, and should appeal to RE fans, whether they love Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4, or Resident Evil Village.
