Barbie brings a splash of pink to PowerWash Simulator 2
A fresh coat of grime is about to meet its match in PowerWash Simulator 2. The upcoming Barbie Pack sends players on a sparkling-cleaning adventure through locations that include an airport, a beach, and Barbie’s Dream House. It’s a playful collision of satisfying cleanup and pop-culture glamour, with the PowerWash Simulator creators at FuturLab teaming up with the world of Barbie for a crossover built around making every surface shine.
From the airport to Barbie’s Dream House
The trailer teases a tour of settings with very different vibes: the bustle of an airport, a laid-back stretch of beach, and a Dream House that practically begs to be polished until it gleams. That variety gives the pack room to contrast everyday cleaning with Barbie’s unmistakable style, while the familiar power-washing gameplay keeps the focus on the calming pleasure of watching dirt disappear. The colorful worlds of Barbie and the hands-on satisfaction of PowerWash Simulator make for an unexpectedly natural pairing.

A satisfying clean with a pop-culture twist
Part of the appeal is the simple transformation at the heart of the series: a grimy space becomes crisp and bright, one careful spray at a time. The Barbie Pack gives that familiar rhythm a fresh backdrop, inviting players to scrub through recognizable themed locations and enjoy a more colorful cleaning adventure. For fans of relaxing games and big-screen Barbie, the crossover connects two different kinds of escapism, with IGN’s gaming coverage and Barbie’s film profile on Rotten Tomatoes offering more context on the gaming and entertainment worlds surrounding the collaboration.
Mark the calendar for December 3
The Barbie Pack launches December 3 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. That makes the crossover a timely excuse to return to PowerWash Simulator 2—or to discover its soothing appeal for the first time—before taking on the airport, beach, and Dream House. Platform details and updates are available through Xbox and PlayStation, while the official Nintendo site covers the company’s console lineup.
