YAGA - Official Teaser Trailer (Carrie-Anne Moss, Hudson Williams) | Comic Con 2026
Her voice will haunt you. Check out the teaser trailer for YAGA, an upcoming mystery thriller 8-episode series starring Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid, Hudson Williams, and Clark Backo. The cast also includes Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle, and Hiro Kanagawa, along with Emilija Baranac, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris, and Sam Krochmal. YAGA premieres this October 2026 on AMC+.
Based on the hit play by showrunner and writer Kat Sandler, YAGA follows Rapp (Noah Reid, Schitt’s Creek, The Vampire Lestat), a private investigator who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Hudson Williams, Heated Rivalry). He finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Clark Backo, Venom: The Last Dance, Letterkenny), a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, Katherine (Carrie-Anne Moss, Matrix Films, Memento), and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic.
YAGA, a Crave Original series, is produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures in association with Bell Media. David Frazee and Rachel Talalay serve as co-directors; Mackenzie Donaldson, Andrew Miller, and Carrie-Anne Moss are executive producers; and Charles Cooper is producer.
The series is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company, and was exclusively acquired by AMC Global Media for AMC+ in the United States.

At this year’s Comic Con, anticipation turned electric as the official teaser for YAGA dropped, pairing familiar iconography with fresh, audacious storytelling. The trailer, featuring Carrie-Anne Moss and Hudson Williams, wastes little time establishing a mood that is both intimate and expansive, inviting viewers into a universe where myth and modernity collide with precision.
From the opening frames, YAGA propels viewers into a world where ancient power threads through contemporary life. Moss brings a poised, enigmatic gravitas to a central figure whose presence anchors the film’s moral compass. Williams complements this with a dynamic energy that promises propulsion and conflict, suggesting a narrative that balances action with introspective moments. The chemistry between the leads hints at a character-driven core that will likely anchor the film’s most pivotal scenes.
Cinematographically, the teaser trades breadth for texture. The lighting design leans into chiaroscuro contrasts and emerald-hued nightscapes, creating a sense of mystery that invites closer inspection. The production values feel cinematic in scale, with meticulous attention to costume and set dressing that signal a world both timeless and immediate. The teaser’s pacing builds a forward momentum rich with slate-gray urban landscapes, symbolic landmarks, and ritualized motifs that tease a larger mythos without divulging too much too soon.
Narratively, the teaser teases a central quest: a boundary between worlds, a test of faith or resilience, and a reckoning with consequences that stretch beyond the protagonist’s immediate circle. While specifics remain under wraps, the visual language suggests themes of power, responsibility, and the price of choices made in the face of overwhelming force. The murmured lines and carefully placed dialogue cues imply a story that favors inferences and texture over exposition, inviting audiences to piece together the larger puzzle in theaters and subsequent releases.
Fans should expect a blend of grounded character work and high-concept spectacle. The teaser’s tonal balance indicates a film that respects its mythic roots while delivering contemporary thrills—swift action sequences, kinetic chase dynamics, and intimate character beats that illuminate the stakes. If the trailer is any indication, YAGA aims to be both a showcase of athletic cinema and a vessel for character-driven narrative resonance.
In the wake of Comic Con’s reveal, early reactions lean toward confident curiosity. The casting choices, combined with the teaser’s visual bravura, set the stage for a high-profile premiere that could redefine expectations for future franchises. As audiences anticipate additional footage, the teaser already establishes YAGA as a title worth watching closely—promising a cinematic experience that lingers, challenges, and rewards repeat viewings.
Conclusion: The official teaser for YAGA signals a bold entry into a crowded landscape, one that seeks to fuse mythic storytelling with contemporary cinematic craft. With standout performances, evocative visuals, and a hint of mystery that demands attention, the film positions itself as a premiere to track as Comic Con’s buzz continues to unfold. For fans and newcomers alike, YAGA represents the kind of promise that invites conversation, speculation, and, most compellingly, a sense of anticipation for what comes next.
