Oscar De La Hoya Vs. Miguel Cotto

Fight Night Champion
Two of the best pound for pound fighters in boxing history never actually faced each other in the ring.  Miguel Cotto from Puerto Rico and Oscar De La Hoya ("The Golden Boy") from Mexico. Fortunately we have a simulation boxing experience like no other.
Thanks to Fight Night Champion we can see exactly how these two champion fighters would match up in the ring.  In this middleweight 10 round simulation boxing match Miguel Cotto stands 5'7" tall, weighs in at 147 pounds with a 67" reach.  Oscar De La Hoya stands 5'10" tall, weighs in at 147 pounds with a 73" reach.  Thanks to sports games like Fight Night Champion we can experience what would have been a spectacular event.
Since these two fighters are still alive and well, who knows if Oscar De La Hoya and Miguel Cotto will fight in the boxing ring.  Mike Tyson is going to fight Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition boxing match, maybe this will open some doors for great retired fighters to come back and do some good for charity and for boxing.  For now we can just use our imagination and fight simulation games like Fight Night Champion.
