Ted Lasso is now streaming on Apple TV https://apple.co/TedLasso
In the third season of Ted Lasso, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them to finish last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.

Meet the Lady Greyhounds newest striker: Gemma. #TedLasso
In the evolving tapestry of our club, a fresh thread has woven its way into the frontline: Gemma, the Lady Greyhounds’ newest striker. With a blend of tenacity, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for goal, Gemma embodies the spirit we strive to uphold both on and off the pitch. Her arrival signals a renewed commitment to attacking sharpness and creative fluidity, hallmarks that fans have long associated with our squad.
From her first training session, Gemma demonstrated a poise beyond her years. She reads the game with a striker’s instinct, recognizing space where others see congestion and making decisive runs that stretch defenses. Her finishing technique combines composure with pace, allowing her to convert opportunities from a variety of angles and distances. Beyond her goal-scoring capability, she brings a collaborative mindset to the frontline, linking play with midfield partners and creating chances through intelligent movement and anticipation.
Her journey to the Lady Greyhounds has been marked by consistency and growth. Across previous campaigns, Gemma has honed her craft in tight spaces, developed a robust work rate, and embraced a team-first approach that elevates those around her. This blend of individual skill and collective discipline aligns seamlessly with our club’s philosophy: to play with purpose, precision, and relentless pressure when out of possession.
On and off the field, Gemma embodies the values that define our culture. She approaches training with humility and a growth mindset, continually seeking feedback and translating it into tangible improvements. Her leadership, even in the early stages of her tenure, has already begun to inspire younger players as they observe her commitment and resilience.
Looking ahead, the expectations placed upon Gemma are paired with a clear framework for success. She will be integrated into our tactical system with positional flexibility that allows the team to adapt to different opponents while maintaining our core principles. The coaching staff is confident that her presence will not only bolster our attacking options but also inject a fresh energy into the squad’s dynamics.
As the season unfolds, supporters can anticipate the kind of performances that define a season—moments of invention, precision finishing, and a demonstration of character when the pressure is highest. Gemma’s journey with the Lady Greyhounds is just beginning, and we eagerly anticipate the impact she will have both in front of goal and as a catalyst for team-wide excellence.
