The Terminal List: Season 2 - Official Trailer (2026) Chris Pratt, Constance Wu, Luke Hemsworth
Check out the trailer for season two of The Terminal List, the action-packed series starring Chris Pratt, Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, and Luke Hemsworth. All eight episodes of Season 2 of The Terminal List will premiere on Prime Video on October 21, 2026.
From the best-selling novels of the same name, The Terminal List centers on Navy SEAL Commander “James Reece” (Chris Pratt) as he battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order. This season comes from Jack Carr's second novel, True Believer, where he puts “James Reece” on a journey of violent redemption, finding a new purpose after finishing his list. The psychological revenge thriller of Season One opens up into a globe-trotting espionage thriller taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Joined by returning fan favorites like “Raife Hastings” (Tom Hopper), “Katie Buranek” (Constance Wu), “Mohammed Farooq” (Dar Salim), “Jules Landry” (Luke Hemsworth) and newcomers like “Freddy Strain” (Gabriel Luna), Reece will uncover a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family's history.
Season Two also features an expanded international cast including Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb, Shiraz Tzarfati, and more.
The Terminal List is executive produced by Chris Pratt through Indivisible Productions, writer and showrunner David DiGilio, author Jack Carr, Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick through Fuqua Films, former Army Ranger and writer Max Adams, and former Navy SEAL, writer, actor, and technical advisor Jared Shaw. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media.
The Terminal List returns with momentum, inviting audiences back into the shadowed corridors of national service, covert operations, and personal reckoning. Season 2 builds on the taut, high-stakes momentum of the first outing, expanding the moral and tactical terrain while preserving the crisp, action-forward storytelling that fans have come to expect.
From the opening frames of the official trailer, the tone is clear: the clock is never on your side, and every decision has a ripple that reaches far beyond the immediate moment. Chris Pratt reprises a lead performance that blends stoic resolve with a wary humanity, anchoring a narrative that refuses to reduce its characters to mere archetypes. Constance Wu adds a sharp, cerebral counterpoint, infusing scenes with a grounded intelligence that elevates the strategic maneuvers and elevates the emotional stakes. Luke Hemsworth enters with a measured gravity, offering a formidable presence that compounds the series’ tensions and broadens its interpersonal dynamics.
Visually, the trailer signals a heightened production scale: sharper cinematography, more elaborate set-pieces, and a kinetic pacing that keeps the viewer off-balance in a way that mirrors the protagonist’s fragile sense of control. The music cues are purposeful, weaving percussion and synths into a soundscape that feels like a pulse quickening with every revelation. The action sequences appear meticulously choreographed, balancing kinetic energy with practical, grounded choreography that avoids over-reliance on CGI and instead leans into tangible stakes and real consequences.
At the narrative core, Season 2 promises a deeper dive into themes of accountability, loyalty, and the imperfect nature of heroism. The material hints at a broader conspiracy or oversight mechanism that challenges the protagonist’s loyalties—testing not just who he can trust, but what he believes to be true about duty, family, and country. The supporting cast appears to be expanded with voices that both complicate and enrich the central mission, suggesting a storyline with multiple vantage points and layered motivations.
For viewers who appreciated the first season’s blend of procedural tension and personal drama, this trailer suggests a continuation—and perhaps escalation—of that formula. It raises questions that are both intimate and expansive: How far will the protagonist go to safeguard those he loves? What lines will he cross, and what collateral damage will be an acceptable price? And crucially, what kind of moral currency will the endgame require when every ally could potentially be an adversary?
As Season 2 gears up for release, the promise seems to be not just more adrenaline-fueled sequences, but a carefully calibrated narrative that invites reflection on the costs of vigilance in a world where information and misdirection are the most dangerous weapons. The official trailer positions The Terminal List as not only a platform for pulse-pounding entertainment but also a meditation on the fragility of certainty in a climate of ambiguity and suspicion.
In short, the trailer for The Terminal List: Season 2 signals a returning commitment to high-stakes storytelling that respects the audience’s appetite for complexity. It suggests a season that will challenge its characters, elevate its production values, and extend the show's central question: what does it take to remain human when everything else is at risk?
