In "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" begibt sich der berühmte Archäologe Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones auf ein letztes großes Abenteuer, das sich um ein uraltes Geheimnis dreht – den sogenannten „Großen Kreis“, ein mysteriöses globales Muster, das alte Kulturen miteinander zu verbinden scheint.

Die Geschichte spielt teils während des Zweiten Weltkriegs und springt später in das Jahr 1969, zur Zeit des Wettlaufs ins All. Indy wird in eine Verschwörung verwickelt, bei der Nazis, alte Artefakte und ein geheimer Pfad durch die Geschichte eine zentrale Rolle spielen. Gemeinsam mit neuen und alten Verbündeten reist er rund um den Globus – von Europa über Ägypten bis nach Asien – immer auf der Spur eines uralten Artefakts, das ungeahnte Macht birgt.

Dabei muss er nicht nur gefährliche Fallen und Gegner überstehen, sondern sich auch mit dem Wandel der Zeit und seiner eigenen Vergangenheit auseinandersetzen.
