The Schism are a faction of dissenters who split from the Alvar – Jadame’s major continental power – to find their own solution to the Hive threat. Settling among snowy mountains and frozen ravines far from civilization, they founded a society built on literacy, a rigid hierarchy, and a drive to uncover the lost ancient rites of their Vori ancestors.

This gives them access to dangerous, yet powerful magic, letting Schism leaders summon hordes of monstrous eldritch creatures, as well as denying their opponents access to their own abilities. Whether through sheer numbers or powerful ice magic, they seek to suppress and overwhelm their opponents.
