Gravhounds Opens Fire on the Front Line

The Early Access launch trailer for Gravhounds sets up a straightforward but potent promise: hold the line, protect the base, and keep moving as danger closes in. Developed by Octopus Panic, this co-op third-person action shooter puts players on the front lines against waves of enemies, with each defense bringing rewards and another chance to stave off disaster. The setup taps into the satisfying pressure of cooperative shooters, a tradition explored across IGN’s games coverage and the broader history of third-person shooters.

A Base Under Siege, A Team Under Pressure

At the heart of Gravhounds is a clear tactical tension: the base is the objective, but survival depends on facing threats beyond its walls. The trailer frames that defense as a co-op challenge, where coordination can matter as much as firepower when enemy waves keep coming. That team-first structure gives the action an inviting point of entry for players who enjoy shared battles, much like the cooperative experiences highlighted on Xbox and the multiplayer games catalogued by Steam.

Early Access Makes the Fight a Beginning

Gravhounds is available now in Early Access for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox on PC, and Steam. That launch makes the trailer more than a first look at its wave-based combat; it is an invitation to join the game as its early-access journey gets underway. Players can find the platform details through Xbox and browse the PC release on Steam, while the central appeal remains easy to grasp: gather a crew, defend the base, and see how long the line can hold.
