LG’s CLOiD robot butler is a prototype designed for household chores. 🧼🏠

CLOiD features two arms with seven degrees of freedom and five fingers for high-dexterity tasks like folding laundry and loading dishwashers. It uses Physical AI and Vision Language Action technology to translate verbal commands into physical movement, allowing it to navigate your home autonomously.

In a live demo at CES, it communicated with smart appliances to send recipes to the stove and even grabbed milk from the fridge – but we’re still skeptical about its readiness for market.
