In this snippet from podcast Beyond 926, A new Star Wars game? Awesome! From Casey Hudson, who gave us Mass Effect and KOTOR? Incredible! And it’s an action RPG set in The Old Republic? This is all stuff to be excited about if we couldn’t help but feel like this game is a very long way off, assuming it even gets finished by the newly formed Arcanaut Studios. We’ve been waiting 4+ years for any news on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic’s remake and Star Wars: Eclipse, and in that time have heard about several Star Wars projects, video game or otherwise that are either in development or in development hell. It’s a frustrating time to be a fan of video games set in this universe, so hopefully Arcanaut Studios can prove us all wrong sometime this decade.
