Drops of God Season 2 is now streaming on Apple TV https://apple.co/_DropsOfGod
Alexandre Léger, creator of the famous Léger Wine Guide and emblematic figure in oenology, has just passed away, leaving behind a daughter, Camille, who hasn’t seen her father since her parents separated when she was nine years old. When Camille flies to Tokyo and Léger’s will is read, she discovers that her father has left her an extraordinary wine collection. But, to claim the inheritance, Camille must compete with a brilliant oenologist, Issei Tomine, who her father took under his wing and is referred to in Léger’s will as his “spiritual son.” This eight-episode multilingual French-Japanese drama is adapted from the New York Times bestselling Japanese manga series of the same name created and written by award-winning Tadashi Agi, with artwork by Shu Okimoto and published by Kodansha. Drops of God stars Fleur Geffrier as Camille Léger and Tomohisa Yamashita as Issei Tomine.

Cheers to that. #DropsOfGod Season 2 — Now Streaming
Season 2 of #DropsOfGod arrives with the same meticulous craftsmanship that defined the first, inviting viewers to a refined tasting journey that blends drama with a reverent exploration of wine culture. This latest chapter expands its palate, delivering richer character arcs, sharper dialogue, and a narrative tempo that mirrors the slow, deliberate glide of a well-balanced vintage.
From the opening scene, the series asserts its confidence: visuals that capture the sun-dappled ribbons of vineyard rows, sound design that frames each cork pop and decanter swirl, and a pacing that respects both the stakes and the sensory pleasures of wine. The storytelling remains collaborative in tone, weaving expert insight with human moments—familial tensions, professional rivalries, and the quiet courage it takes to stand by one’s convictions when the stakes are high.
What sets Season 2 apart is its willingness to push complexity without sacrificing accessibility. The central conundrum—how to honor tradition while embracing innovation—unfolds through a cast of characters whose ambitions feel tangible and morally scaled. The result is a season that rewards attentive viewing: subtle foreshadowing, layered motives, and a social fabric that makes the wine world feel both aspirational and lived-in.
Cinematically, Drops of God continues to leverage its sensory palette. Close-ups of glassware catching light, the velvet hush of a cellar, and the tactile texture of grape skins become narrative devices in their own right. This is storytelling that trusts the audience to read between the lines, to glean meaning from what is unsaid as much as from what is spoken aloud.
For enthusiasts, the season offers thoughtful nods to winemaking philosophy, terroir, and the timeless tension between craft and commerce. For newcomers, it presents an inviting entry point into a world where each bottle tells a story and every decision carries weight. The result is not just entertainment; it is an invitation to savor—slowly, deliberately, and with curiosity.
Season 2 of #DropsOfGod is streaming now, and it earns its place on shelves beside other contemporary dramas that treat food, drink, and culture with the respect they deserve. If you crave character-driven storytelling seasoned with technical depth and a sensory-rich atmosphere, this is a lineup worth pouring a glass for.
Bottom line: a confident, rewarding continuation that respects its roots while charting new terrain. Raise a glass to the season, and enjoy the nuanced tapestry it unfurls episode by episode.
