Why Video Game Graphics Are Evolving Backwards

Video Game Graphics seems like they have surpassed a peak and now just look blurry, and grainy. I mean Batman Arkham Knight from 2015, looks better than Suicide Squad from 2024. To make Matters even worse, why do we need $4000 Graphic Cards to play games that look this bad?
