Toi, our friendly protagonist, has a girlfriend, Zoi, a beautiful little doll. One day, while at a disco, a crazy-looking guy snatches Toi from the lips of his sweet little doll. "Wow, that guy has a nerve!… Hey, you crazy guy!" And the crazy guy replies: "Follow me if you can, egg face!" Toi ran after him; they were taking his favorite girl! And he couldn’t tolerate that.
The crazy guy is none other than the famous Dr. Acid, who has always been denied the Nobel Prize despite his great (albeit somewhat evil) discoveries. Now, indignant and filled with rage, Dr. Acid dedicates himself to performing terrible experiments, kidnapping all kinds of creatures and then transforming them into SMILES with different personalities. The fate he has in store for Zoi is to transform her into the girlfriend of his newly created SMILES-FRANKESTEIN, who are desperately begging their master for a playmate.
At this moment, Dr. Acid drags Zoi toward his lair, the "Acid House." But she drops along the way, one by one, her entire collection of badges, which she had pinned to her shirt, so that Toi can collect them and find the path that leads to Dr. Acid’s horrible mansion.
However, the cunning and evil doctor has strewn the path with enemies and traps to make Toi give up or succumb to his pursuit. But our hero is brave and tenacious and will know how to defend himself by hunting Smiles (small, semi-intelligent spheres filled with highly corrosive acid), with which he can fill a tank and throw its contents at his enemies, thus destroying them. But beware! Don’t forget that the Smiles are allies of Dr. Acid and will try to break apart near Toi, creating deadly pools for him. The first difficulty our protagonist will encounter is a Smile-Thief who will chase him, trying to steal the acid he uses to defend himself. Then come the mixed drinks, ice cream, bottles of rum, and other potions that will change Toi’s state and personality throughout the four different scenarios he will have to traverse if he wants to rescue his beloved: the nightclub, the beach, the galleon, and the Acid House.
