Stranger Things Returns to the Fog

Dead by Daylight is reopening the door to Hawkins with its latest Stranger Things Collection, bringing a fresh wave of supernatural style to Behaviour Interactive’s asymmetrical horror game. Released for Stranger Things Day, the trailer spotlights Rare Outfits for Vecna, Steve Harrington, and Nancy Wheeler—a crossover that puts familiar faces from the Netflix series back in the game’s shadowy world. The collection is available now, as noted by the Netflix Tudum newsroom and the official Dead by Daylight site.

Vecna Brings a Different Kind of Dread

Vecna is an especially fitting presence in a game built around pursuit, panic, and the thin hope of escape. The character’s ominous look gives the collection a distinctly otherworldly edge, while the appearance of Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler reconnects the crossover with the people who have faced the horrors of Hawkins firsthand. For more on the series’ characters and mythology, the Stranger Things cast guide and Encyclopaedia Britannica’s series overview offer useful context.

Fashion for the Hunt

These Rare Outfits are more than a nod to a popular show; they let players bring a little of its visual identity into the tense rhythm of a match. In Dead by Daylight, character presentation is part of the atmosphere, and recognizable looks can make every chase feel like a small scene from a larger horror story. The trailer’s focus on the collection also gives fans a quick look at its designs, with further game information available through Dead by Daylight on Steam and the Behaviour Interactive website.

A Crossover Built for Stranger Things Day

The timing gives the release an added sense of occasion: Stranger Things Day turns the collection into a celebration of a series whose blend of friendship, eerie mystery, and ’80s-inspired adventure has made it a natural match for horror gaming. Whether players are drawn by Vecna’s menace or by Steve and Nancy’s return, the collection offers a compact way to bring Hawkins into the fog.
