Two worlds collide in a flash of steel
Delta Force is preparing to welcome the dark, blade-driven world of Phantom Blade Zero, and the crossover teaser wastes little time setting the mood. The brief preview hints at a meeting between Team Jade’s free-to-play shooter and the action RPG’s martial-arts intensity, offering a first glimpse of a collaboration designed to make both universes feel a little closer. For more on the shooter, visit the official Delta Force site, while the Phantom Blade Zero site offers a look at the other half of this pairing.
Phantom Blade Zero brings a different kind of edge
The appeal lies in the contrast. Delta Force is built around first-person action, while Phantom Blade Zero draws on fast, cinematic sword combat and a shadowy martial-arts setting. The teaser gives only a brief taste of the crossover, so specific rewards and gameplay details remain under wraps; still, the combination suggests a striking visual change of pace for Delta Force players. The IGN gaming team regularly tracks major game announcements, and Phantom Blade Zero’s background helps explain why its distinctive style stands out.

A crossover built for a wide audience
The collaboration is set to arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, Android, and PC via Steam, putting the event within reach of players across console, mobile, and PC. That broad lineup reflects Delta Force’s free-to-play reach and gives the crossover a chance to travel well beyond a single platform community. The Steam storefront is a useful place to follow the PC release, while PlayStation’s PS5 hub covers the console side of the announcement.
The teaser leaves room for the reveal
For now, the most compelling part of the announcement is the promise of a clash between two very different action identities: Delta Force’s first-person firefights and Phantom Blade Zero’s blade-focused world. The teaser is intentionally brief, leaving the exact shape of the crossover—and how its content will appear in play—to a future reveal. Until then, the official Delta Force channels and Phantom Blade Zero’s official site are the places to watch as the collaboration approaches.
