Originally released only in Japan, the first entry in the Mystery Dungeon series is finally making its international debut!

Set after the events of DRAGON QUEST IV, this is the story of Torneko, a man who dreams of becoming the world’s greatest weapons merchant. One day, he hears rumors of a mysterious dungeon said to contain incredible treasures. In search of a legendary treasure that no one has ever managed to bring back, Torneko sets out for the Mystery Dungeon.

Every time you enter, the Mystery Dungeon takes on a new form. Items and monsters change with every expedition, and each new journey begins from Level 1. Defeat enemies to gain experience and level up, gather equipment and items to grow stronger, and explore in search of treasure. The deeper you go, the more powerful the monsters become.

Based on the original game from 1993, this title features upgraded HD graphics, a new opening movie, and adjustable difficulty settings.
