The company’s new "privacy layer" intelligently dims or cloaks pixels if someone tries to view your phone from a side angle. It can even be customized to turn on for specific sensitive apps or notification pop-ups.
We tested it at a preview event and found it works surprisingly well, though the screen appears slightly dimmer from the front when active.
